Cookies

Bookmer does not use cookies to track you. We do not set web tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or analytics cookies. We do not use Google Analytics, and we do not place cookies that follow you across other websites or build a profile of how you browse.

The only cookies Bookmer sets are strictly necessary for signing in and keeping you logged in. Without them, the app cannot tell that it is you.

What we set

• Session. A cookie named _act stores the sign-in token for your account so you stay logged in.
• New account. A short-lived cookie named isNewUser is set right after you create an account, so the first sign-in can finish correctly.
• Organization sign-in. A temporary cookie named bookmer_org_redirect is used only while an organization login sends you back to the right page. It is removed when that redirect is done.
• Sign-in marker. A cookie named bookmarkerCookies is set when you sign in. It is not used for advertising or tracking.

We do not ask you to accept optional cookies, because we do not set any. There is no cookie banner for tracking.

Your browser may also keep interface choices on your device, such as theme or a cached view of your library. That storage stays in your browser. It is not a tracking cookie, and we do not use it to follow you.
